Charity work is an important and valued part of the cadet experience.

One of our key charities at 561 is Retiremutt; the Dyfed-Powys Police Dogs retirement fund. With strong links to the police and a close relationship with the police dog handlers at Dyfed-Powys, it is a charity that many of the staff and cadets at 561 are passionate about.

We have recently undertaken a 20km walk, starting along the prom in Aberystwyth to raise funds for the charity and managed to raise an amazing total of £1255!

 

PC's Greg Smyth and Hefin Jones accepted the cheque for the fundraiser, presented to them by the cadets themselves.
